The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced that the number coding scheme is still lifted as of Monday, April 1st.
MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino said this is to help the thousands of motorists who went out of town for the Holy Week. However, he was quick to warn that the number coding system is in effect within the Makati Central Business District, ABS-CBN News reported.
Remember, unless you’re in Makati, getting caught for violating the number-coding scheme is either an April Fools’ Day prank or an attempt at extortion.
