Maynilad pipe-laying in Pasay to start March 11

Maynilad Water Services has issued an advisory about the possible effects of their pipe-laying project along Andrews Avenue in Pasay City to vehicle traffic.

The work will commence on March 11 and will take place between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. The area will be boarded up to prevent accidents and will be installed with lighting and warning signs.

The water service concessionaire will also be coordinating with Pasay city government to manage traffic flow and safety in the are during the course of the pipe-laying work.

According to Maynilad, this is the second phase of its pipe replacement project along Andrews Avenue in Pasay City. It spans a total of 5 kms from Circulo de Mundo Rotunda to Domestic Road and involves both primary and secondary lines.

Maynilad said the project will be completed by July 2013, GMA News reported.
