Maynilad customers in parts of Quezon City, Caloocan, Manila, Muntinlupa and Las Piñas can arrange to have the water concessionaire clean out their septic tanks.
According to a report from the Philippine Information Agency, “Maynilad President Victorico Vargas urged the company’s customers to avail themselves of the free septic tank cleaning that usually costs around P2,500 per truck.”
Customers from Barangay Batasan Hills–Filinvest Homes 1, Quezon City; Brgys. 160, 162 and 163 (Sta. Quiteria) and Brgys. 168, 170 and 177 (Deparo 2) in Caloocan City; Brgys. 187–197 (Obrero), Brgys. 373–378 (Sta. Cruz) and Brgys. 472–481 and 492–520 (Sampaloc) can arrange to have their septic tanks cleaned by calling Maynilad Hotline 1626.
Maynilad customers in BF Resort Village, Brgy. Talon 2 in Las Piñas, Ayala Alabang Village Association, District 2, and Housing 1 in Muntinlupa can also have their septic tanks cleaned out without extra charge.
Maynilad customers pay a monthly Environmental Charge that covers “desludging of septic tanks and other environmental cleaning costs.“
