Boys of Marikina, get ready to lose your foreskins and arbitrarily gain membership in the society of men through the fun summer tradition of circumcision.
The Marikina City government has launched “Mega Tule III”, a program to have 1,200 pre-adolescent boys undergo the scariest surgical procedure they will hopefully ever have to go through.
The city government has designated six clusters areas in Barangays Tañong, San Roque, Concepcion Dos, Sto. Niño and Malanday, Parang, and Concepcion Uno to give residents of Marikina’s 16 barangays easier access to the program.
The program runs 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from April 3 to 24, or until the city has 1,200 new men high fiving each other for being brave.
