Manila policeman says Erap hit him during inquest

A member of the Manila police force has accused former President Joseph Estrada of hitting him several times during the inquest of Vice Mayor Isko Moreno and five other councilors for their alleged participation in an illegal gambling captivity.

Eduardo Morata, chief of the Blumentritt Community Precinct said the incident happened at the Manila Prosecutors Office. He adds that the former President even threatened to have him fired for carrying out his duties and arresting the said city officials.

According to Interaksyon.com, Morata showed the media a bloodied policeman uniform as proof that he has was manhandled.
