Manila police returns stolen vehicles to owners

The anti-carnapping unit of the Manila Police District facilitated the return of three stolen vehicles to their respective owners on Monday.

A Toyota Rav 4 was returned to Glecille Navoa-Yap, an Isuzu Highlander to Christine Ong and a Yamaha Fino motorcycle found its way back to its owner, Tsino Asilo.

Police said the SUV was turned over to them by a model citizen who learned that the vehicle he had bought was really stolen.

According to Inquirer News, Ong’s highlander was stolen in front of her house in Caloocan City, while the motorcycle was stolen in Tondo Manila on Jan. 29 this year.
