The Manila Police District (MPD) has announced the arrest of one of two suspects in the holdup-slay of a 20-year-old Pamantasan ng Lungsod Maynila (PLM) tourism cum laude graduate.
MPD director Chief Supt. Alex Gutierrez identified the suspect as Melvin Balajadia, 29. He was arrested in Tacloban City.
During questioning, the suspect identified his partner as Gerald Camua, 27, who is now the subject of a police manhunt. The two are residents of Tambunting, Sta. Cruz, Manila, and are said to be members of the ‘Sigue-Sigue Sputnik Gang’.
On March 6, they shot 20-year-old Kristine Dawn Concepcion in a jeepney holdup, the Journal reported.
