Manila police arrest five truck robbers

The Manila police anti carnapping section were able to recover PHP 270,000 worth of stolen property and arrest five hijackers in an operation at F.B. Harrison Street in Pasay City.

MPD-ANCAR Chief Senior Inspector Rizalino Ibay identified the suspects as Richard Pleno Udan, Erwin Duran, Delfin Hifarva and helpers Samuel Angconombe and Arjay Almadra.

Police explained that Udan worked as a truck driver for Louie Maglalang who owns a soft drink delivery business in Pandacan, Manila. The driver stole the truck and its contents.

According to the Journal, police were able to recover the truck and half of its contents along Macapagal Avenue in Pasay City. Follow up operations resulted to the arrest of Udan and the four other suspects.
