A man held his own family hostage in Barangay Calumpang, Marikina City on Tuesday night, according to a report over DZMM.
According to the report, Narel Buena held his own family hostage because of unspecified domestic problems. He reportedly stabbed his own aunt 15 times. The aunt was in critical condition and was being treated at the Amang Rodriguez Medical Center in Marikina as of this post.
Aside from his aunt, Buena also reportedly held his wife, his seven-month-old child as well as his aunt’s seven-year-old child hostage. Buena said he lost control but that he wouldn’t have hurt the children, the report said.
He surrendered and is now in the custody of Marikina City Police.
