Some parents sure are harsh when it comes to disciplining their child.
Take, for example, a man who taught his daughter a lesson by tying her (using a dog chain!) to an aratilis tree in front of their house last Sunday. He told the police that he had enough of his pasaway daughter (who refused to go to school and got a tattoo, among other pasaway things), who had been out for four days without permission. The man saw her loitering at a nearby house and tried to bring her back home. When she resisted, that was when the man chained her to the tree.
The girl was eventually untied by police officers that the neighbors asked help from. According to philstar.com, the father was led to the police station and now faces maltreatment charges in relation to the anti-child abuse law.
