Makati police assures Malaysian embassy security

Makati City Police on Thursday assured that there is enough security at the Malaysian Embassy in Tordesillas street.

The assurance was made amid threats of rallies and pickets from various protest groups who are expressing their discontent on the continued skirmishes between followers of Sulu Sultan Jamalul Kiram III and Malaysian security forces.

In a GMA News report, Makati City police chief Senior Superintendent Manuel Lukban Jr. assured the public that there is “sufficient” personnel to safeguard the embassy and its personnel.On top of this, the police official said his men will continue to exercise maximum tolerance on protesters.
