Former President Joseph Estrada and incumbent Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim signed a peace accord on Friday promising Manila a clean and honest elections.
Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Sixto Brillantes stood as witness to the signing of the covenant at the Manila Police District Headquarters.
Aside from Estrada and Lim who are fighting for the Mayoralty seat, candidates for other positions were also present and vowed to abide by the peace agreement, ABS-CBN News reported.
