Residents of Parañaque City – well, at least the tech-savvy ones – can now be more informed through their smartphones or tablets, thanks to the new Parañaque FB and Twitter accounts that have just been set up.
According to the city’s website, these social media accounts were created so that those from Parañaque will be well-informed. They will also be used as a tool to promote the city as a tourist attraction.
What kind of info can one get from the accounts? Lots: info on class suspensions, red tide ban, free anti-rabies dog immunization and other advisories; the latest projects and programs of the local government; current events and developments in the city.
You can also express opinions or views, plus communicate with city government officials.
