The infamous Robert Blair Carabuena, the motorist who was videotaped assaulting an MMDA traffic enforcer, has posted a bail bond of P24,000 for his temporary freedom.
Almost a week after he was arrested on direct assault charges, Carabuena appeared before the Quezon City Hall of Justice. He apologized to the court and said he will be present on the next hearing scheduled for March 7.
MMDA traffic constable Saturnino Fabros flagged him for a traffic violation on Aug. 11, 2012. Instead of accepting his faults, Carabuena allegedly assaulted the officer, the Philippine Star reported.
