The Eastern Police District on Thursday arrested an Estonian national and his companion for allegedly robbing and extorting money from Arnauld Ymanuel Veluz Clavio, son of veteran journalist, Arnold Clavio.
Chief Supt. Miguel T. Laurel, said they had acted on the Clavio’s complaint against the suspects. Urmas Saask, 36, alias Veikoo Soori, an Estonian national, and his companion Lilia Docot, 29, alias Aumi Cha were arrested in an entrapment operation in Taguig City.
The 23-year-ol Clavio’s car was allegedly hit by the suspects’ Mercedez Benz along Guadix Street in Mandaluyong City at 2 p.m. on Tuesday. Instead of apologizing, Saask reportedly threatened Clavio and even took his iPhone. He then demanded P28,000 from him so he could get his phone back.
Upon investigation, authorities said Saask is an overstaying alien in the country, Inquirer News reported.
