Environment Secretary Ramon Paje has three suggestions when you need to get rid of your old gadgets and appliances: trade it, donate it, or recycle it.
Of course, you can also sell those that are still working – and make money.
According to a statement that Paje gave Inquirer, we shouldn’t throw away old gadgets in the trash because improper disposal of such electronic devices is hazardous to the environment.
Paje explained that they have “potentially toxic chemicals that can seep into the soil or water supply and escape into the air, posing danger to humans.”
