Interaksyon just reported that according to the Bureau of Treasury, “the country’s total debt stock climbed by P22 billion to P5.381 trillion in November.”
So if you divide the amount to the number of Filipinos (based on the World Health Organization’s estimate of our population, which is 98 million), then each Pinoy owes the country’s creditors about P54,908.
