Poor guy must have felt really bad because after someone stood him up, he apparently committed suicide. Roderick Echalas left a suicide note that read “I waited for you at the mall until 4 p.m. but you never came,” in Filipino.
A group of children discovered Echalas’ body hanging from the ceiling of his house in Quezon City, the front door of which was left open, according to Inquirer.
It’s still not known who the suicide note was for, but according to neighbors, Echalas’ live-in girlfriend left him three months ago and he hadn’t been going out much since then.
