A security guard shot dead two suspected robbers in the Bureau of Immigration (BI) Compound in Intramuros,Manila.
According to reports, security guard Carlos Garcia arrested one of the suspects after catching him trying to steal a compressor. He then wielded a knife, which prompted the guard to shoot him.
The suspect’s companion, meanwhile, reportedly tried to grab the guard’s shotgun, so he shot him as well.
Police are still corroborating the guard’s statement with crime scene evidence to find out what really happened, ABS CBN News reported.
