A 26-year-old woman stabbed her boyfriend of 12 years after a heated argument in Barangay Tangos, Navotas City on Thursday night.
Heidi Grutas willingly surrendered to police after stabbing the father of her three children with a 12-inch knife. She did not realize that she had killed her boyfriend until police officers and neighbors informed her.
The deceased was identified as Roy Guillermo,a tricycle driver and a drunkard with a temper. He allegedly hits Grutas whenever he gets drunk.
The two had a heated argument and Guillermo reportedly hit Grutas again. This time the woman fought back by stabbing him, ABS CBN News reported.
