The Bonifacio High Street branch of local bookshop Fully Booked will be giving away free comic books on May 4.
The activity is in line with the US celebration of free comic book day, which is observed on the first Saturday of May. This is a promotional campaign in the US that aims to generate new comic book readers and promote local comic book stores as well.
In an ABS CBN News report, Fully Booked said visitors will be getting three comic books for free. There is also no required purchase or a minimum amount that must be spent in order to enjoy the freebies.
Additionally, Fully Booked will also be giving a 20% discount on all of its graphic novels on May 4 only.
