Foul smell leads to dead body in Mandaluyong City

A very unpleasant smell led to the discovery of the decomposing body of a former clerk from the National Center for Mental Health (NCMH) at her house in Mandaluyong City on Tuesday.

Mandaluyong City police identified the deceased as Aurora Salloman, 66, of Palanca Compound, Nueve de Pebrero St., Bgy Mauway.

Neighbors alerted the police because of the foul smell emanating from her house. She was said to be living alone, with only a dog as her companion. The dog was seen lying beside her as if trying to wake her up from sleep.

Police brought Salloman’s remains to the PNP Crime laboratory for autopsy, the Journal reported.
