Five Pinays were held at the NAIA Terminal 2 in Paranaque City on suspicion of being victims of human trafficking.
They were bound for Seoul when they were apprehended by immigration officers and were prevented from boarding their Philippine Airlines flight to Hong Kong.
Upon questioning, they admitted that they were headed to South Korea via Hong Kong to work as entertainers. According to the Journal, they were held for lacking proper documentation.
