The Health Department has just released an update on the number of fire cracker related injuries to date: the number is now up to 71.
The bad news is that the numbers are expected to rise even more as the new year approaches. Hundreds of people are flocking to Bulacan, considered as the country’s fireworks capital, to purchase firecrackers and fireworks for the New Year revelry.
