Renato Luna, a 35-year old electrician, committed suicide by hanging himself using a nylon cord. Luna was found dead by his wife, Catherine, inside their home in Tondo at 8 a.m.
Before the suicide, Renato and Catherine were arguing because he hadn’t gotten his salary, which his wife was expecting so she could use it for their children’s needs, according to Inquirer. Renato ended up locking himself in the room and drinking beer while Catherine did the laundry. After several hours, Catherine discovered Renato hanging from the ceiling.
