Officials of the Office of the President were also appalled by the video of a group young kids supposedly enjoying a drinking session.
The clip has been going around social media sites and Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte said they had already instructed the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to look at the case closely in order to find out the identity of these children and their parents.
The children appeared to be drinking vodka and washing it down with a chaser, much like adults would do. Worse, the children were doing this while the adults in the video allegedly watched in amusement.
The DSWD would have to investigate the case further. If proven guilty, the parents could be charged with child abuse, The Philippine Star reported.
