DOTC to set up tents at airports

The transportation department is expecting an influx of tourists for the summer season, but while expansion and improvement projects in most airports are still underway, they have decided to pitch tents to accommodate passengers.

These are not camping style tents though, rather semi-permanent PVC tents. These will be set up  at the ff international airports: Tagbilaran in Bohol, Puerto Princesa in Palawan, Tacloban in Leyte, and Clark in Pampanga.

Transportation Chief Joseph Emilio Abaya said they have has allotted P166.42 million for the project, ABS CBN News reported.
