Tragedy struck a household in Rivera st., Sta Cruz, Manila on Sunday when 38-year-old Jacinto de Guzman killed himself after allegedly poisoning his two teenaged children.
Their bodies were discovered by De Guzman’s wife, Editha, inside their house at 2411-D L. Rivera St., Sta. Cruz, Manila.
Police were also trying to determine if De Guzman had indeed killed his children and his motive for doing so. Their 9-year-old nephew, who was said to be at the house at the time of their death, said his uncle ordered him to go downstairs. The child claimed that he saw Jacinto retrieve a silver cleaning solution before hearing arguments inside the room.
Police are still investigating the cause of death of the two children, Inquirer News reported.
