The helper of Cavite shooter, Ronald Bae, who went on a shooting rampage and killed at least seven people before the New Year, has led police investigators to the reported grave site of one of Bae’s earlier victims.
Police exhumed what is believed to be human remains near Bae’s house in Tabon 1, Kawit Cavite. The bones are said to belong to a former Bae, Teodulo Villanueva. Villanueva has been missing since 2003, and is believed to have been killed by the former baranggay official.
According to the Philippine Star, Chief Inspector Reynaldo Magdaluyo of Cavite Police were accompanied by Bae’s helper John Paul Lopez to the site. Police said forensic experts will have to ascertain if the remains are indeed human and investigate further to make a positive identification.
