Have you seen motel operator Victoria Court’s controversial billboards? An example of their “Where next?” ads is a photo of two couples inside the moviehouse, with the message “After a movie, where next?”
Actually, it only became controversial after Fr. Tony Navarette of the San Juan Nepomuceno de Malibay parish in Pasay City was quoted in a radio interview saying that it invites people to “commit something bad or immoral.” He also asked the Metropolitan Development Agency to take the billboard down. On the other hand, Victoria Court explained through their Twitter account that their billboards are “subject to the viewer’s interpretation.”
The billboard was removed last Feb. 1, although there are other “Where next?” ads in other areas, according to Inquirer.
