A construction worker posing as a student was caught stealing inside the Ateneo last Monday. Rodrigo Santillan was caught by plainclothes security personnel as he was exiting the cafeteria. He was caught with three backpacks he had picked up at the school. The backpacks belonged to Joding Rillo and Ivana Mabuhay, two Ateneo students.
Among other items recovered were a Samsung cell phone, an Apple iPod and cash worth P1,700. The suspect was detained at the Anonas Police station, Inquirer News reported.
