The P. Guevarra to Jose Gil stretch of the usually busy Pingalabanan street in San Juan is still impassable to vehicles as of today.
GMA News reports that this was caused by the Christmas fire that left 2,000 families homeless and claimed the lives of at least 8 persons. The families spent Christmas inside evacuation centers in the area and are said to be suffering from cough, colds and fever due to the cold weather.
They are appealing for mats, blankets, medicine and other donations.
