A hard working carpenter from Barangay Palatiw, Pasig City, was shot dead before dawn on Tuesday.
According to ABS CBN News, the victim, identified as Jopet Abila, sustained at least 12 gunshots all over his body. He was found along F. Soriano Street in Barangay Palatiw.
While the motive for the killing remains unclear, witnesses claim they saw three men leaving the street after gunshots were fired.
Rachel Valera, Abila’s live in partner, said he left the house at around 10 p.m. to talk to a potential client.
