A 61-year-old British national was arrested in Quezon City on Saturday for verbally and emotionally abusing his Filipino girlfriend.
Talipapa, Quezon City police station commander Supt. Michael Macapagal identified the suspect as David Huw Evans from Wales, United Kingdom. The complainant, who requested anonymity, was living with the foreigner for the last three weeks.
She claimed that Evans humiliated her in public so she would leave the condo unit they had been sharing. The complainant said she was scandalized by the foreigner’s actions, Inquirer News reported.
