Brace yourselves for 40 degree temp!

If you’re already complaining about how warm it has been these past few days, this won’t be good news.

The weather bureau has predicted that temperatures could soar up to a blistering 40 degrees Celcius in the forthcoming days. The development, PAGASA said, is brought about by the easterly winds coming from the Pacific Ocean.

On March 30, temperature in Tuguegarao City was measured at 36. 5 degrees Celsius while that of Subic and Metro Manila hit 36.6 Celsius and 34.4 degrees Celsius.

According to the Manila Bulletin, the hottest recorded temperature in the country was 42.2 degrees Celsius which was recorded in Tuguegarao City on May 11, 1969.

Due to the projected warm weather, the public is advised to drink plenty of fluids and wear protective gear.
