‘Beware of new storm,’ PAGASA warns

A weather disturbance spotted off the Marshall Islands is expected to gain more speed and enter Philippine territory by Sunday or Monday.

Reports said the tropical storm, which will be named “Pablo” once it enters the Philippines area of responsibility, is most likely to gain more strength as it moves closer to the Philippines.

It will hit Southern Visayas and Mindanao the hardest, so PAGASA is warning residents of the region to be prepared for its arrival.
