An Australian national was caught at the airport as he was found to be carrying an empty magazine for a 9mm pistol, as well as a box of ammunition with 45 rounds of 9mm bullets.
Andrew Stroud was apprehended at the airport as he was checking in at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 for his Philippine Airlines flight to Bangkok.
The Journal reported that as he was unable to show the necessary permits for the bullets and magazine, he was turned over to the Pasay City Prosecutor’s office for further investigation.
