Angry mobs attacked two snatchers in different instances in Quezon City and Pasay City on Wednesday evening.
According to ABS CBN News, Edgar Avilon snatched the necklace of a woman at a pedestrian overpass in Quezon City. Several bystanders were alerted and they caught him before he could run.
The snatcher in Pasay City, identified as Adonis Dorante, was part of a motorcycle snatching tandem. Their victim however, did not let go of her gag, and so he fell of the fell off the motorcycle.
The driver was arrested by police in a separate operation. The two snatchers were both beaten black and blue by bystanders.
