A maintenance personnel at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Tuesday returned P100,000 in cash belonging to a local passenger from Bacolod City.
The honest janitor, Ronnie Oquendo, returned the pouch containing P100,000 to the lost-and-found section. They then got in touch with the owner, Arsenia Tajan, who only realized the loss when she arrived in Bacolod City.
Inquirer News reported that Oquendo found the pouch at the ladies room inside the airport.
