330 families rendered homeless by Pasay City fire

Some 330 families were displaced Saturday night after a fire razed down 200 houses in Barangay Merville, Pasay City.

The fire burned more than six hours and originated from the house of one Amelia Diaz at on Saint Joseph Street. The fire was put out by firefighters at 12:44 a.m. Sunday

The Manila Bulletin reported that property damage is estimated at P9 million. The families are currently housed at a covered basketball court at Kalayaan street.
