3-year-old rescued from “lola” kidnapper

This one does not want to have a lonely Valentine’s.

A 53-year-old woman, said to be abandoned by her lover, abducted a 3-year-old girl from Quezon City and held her captive until her ex returns to her.

The child was rescued at a bus terminal in Quezon City by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) over the weekend. CIDG Chief Samuel Pagdilao identified the suspect as Baby Nelda Diwa, 53, a resident of Nagkaisang Nayon, Novaliches, Q.C.

The child was a relative of her former lover, Albert Talamo. It was Talamo who ended the relationship and Diwa abducted the child and held her hostage. She even threatened to kill the girl if Talamo does not come back to her, the Journal reported.
