2 QC bridges set to undergo repairs

Expect more traffic buildup and some rerouting as repairs on two major bridges in the Quezon City area have been scheduled to start soon.

Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chair Francis Tolentino on Tuesday approved the six-month repair of Dario Bridge along Edsa in Muñoz and Regalado Bridge in Fairview.

The rehabilitation work will be done by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and will begin in the first week of April.

An Inquirer News report said the work will be completed in six months. During that northbound lanes will alternately be closed to accommodate the repairs.

The MMDA has advised the public to expect traffic rerouting and heavy traffic in the area.
