The death highway strikes again.
At least 19 people were hurt in yet another traffic accident at Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City.
Inquirer News reported that the mishap involved a Jayross Lucky 7 bus (TXR-476) and a Prado bus (TXR-476).
The accident happened at 6:30 a.m. on the westbound lane in front of the UP-Ayala Techno Hub in Barangay Old Capitol Site, Diliman.
The 19 victims, which included a 12-year old girl were passengers of the Prado bus driven by 34-year old Junrey Nuñez. The driver said his brakes failed and caused him to hit the other bus.
Rescue personnel from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority rushed the injured to the East Avenue Medical Center.
