15-year old kidnapper caught by vigilant bus riders

An alert midwife and several other bus passengers prevented the kidnapping of an infant in Paranaque City.

The midwife, identified by GMA News as Imelda Tabora, said she found it suspicious that a 15-year old girl would be travelling with a baby without supplies. She noted that the baby was crying incessantly and the girl clearly had no idea what to do. The passengers kept advising the girl to feed the baby but she apparently did not bring any baby formula.

The passengers called the attention of the bus driver and they prevented the girl from alighting the bus. The vehicle was bound for Quezon City from Paranaque.

It turns out that the baby was kidnapped from a house in Paranaque.
