A drunk Ronald Bae went on a shooting spree in Kawit, Cavite early Friday, killing at least 10 people and wounding at least 10 other people, according to ABS-CBN News.
Shot dead were Abet Fernandez; Boyet Toledo, a tricycle driver; Rhea De Vera, a pregnant woman; seven-year old Michaela Caimol; fruit vendor Irene Funelas; Adoracion Cabrera; and three others.
Bae himself died after police shot him during the shootout.
According to reports, Bae had already been drinking since Thursday evening and that sachets of suspected drugs were found in his house.
According to Sun Star, Bae’s caretaker, John Paul Lopez, reloaded the gunman’s .45-caliber semi-automatic pistol after being threatened by Bae. A P100,000 reward was offered to anyone who could provide information on the whereabouts of Lopez; he was arrested Friday evening.
