New York’s Empire State Building lit up in PH colors

Bright lights of support are appreciated.

The Philippine Star, via its Facebook page, reports that the iconic Empire State Building in New York City was lit up Friday night (NYC time) in the colors of the Philippine flag “to show solidarity, support and raise awareness and aid in light of the tragedy brought by Typhoon Yolanda.” It will be lit up on Saturday evening as well.

Below is a photo snapped and shared on Facebook by journalist Momar Visaya, who is based in The Big Apple.
