Will motorists welcome this change?
“On Wednesday, Jan 22, the Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC) announced that new license plates will be released next month,” reports ANC.
According to the report, the new plates boast of advanced security features and a new alphanumeric design.
The report noted that “the private vehicle plates will come in a black and white design, similar to those used in Singapore and Europe.” Moreover, the new license plates will no longer require stickers. Stickers for windshields will still be distributed.
