Listen, we all deserve great public transportation. That’s a fact. Yet between all of the talk about jeepney modernization, biker safety woes, and overcrowded train stations, the bar for what we can expect has been set pretty low, especially in Metro Manila.
Hence, when One Ayala posted a photo of its gorgeous public utility vehicle (PUV) terminal, located on its lower ground level, netizens were thrilled.
The PUV Terminal at One Ayala opened on March 20 and completes the One Ayala intermodal transport hub — connecting to the Ayala MRT Station on the second level and housing a bus terminal on the upper ground level.
The PUV terminal caters to all the jeep and UV Express routes that were previously housed at Park Square, save for the Pasay Libertad route.
The terminal is open from 5am to 10pm daily.
The One Ayala Terminal is a public-private partnership (PPP) between Ayala Land Inc., the Department of Transportation, and other government agencies, and is expected to serve about 300,000 passengers daily.
