The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has launched its Facebook and Twitter accounts for faster and easier interaction with netizens. Dubbed as “NCRPO React”, the twitter and facebook accounts are aimed at real-time interaction between the metro police force and the general public.
NCRPO Chief Supt. Marcelo Garbo Jr. assigned the Regional Tactical Operation and Intelligence Center to monitor both accounts 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Besides NCRPO react, Garbo said they also have an SMS service called “Subukan Niyo Po Kami”, where the public can send text messages to report crimes and complaints. The NCRPO text and hotline numbers are 0999-901-8181 and 0915-888-8181.
