National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents arrested two alleged members of the Waray-Waray robbery gang in a raid at Parañaque City. Initially identified as Boni and Ka-yo Lungkop, both were caught at a house in Manggahan Bukid Puno, according to official statements of the NBI.
Seized from the two were grenades, various drug paraphernalia, weapons, and ammunitions. Both men are also being suspected of being involved in a series of money changer and bank robberies. According to the Philippine Star, the NBI is still verifying the real identities of both men and checking if they have been responsible for recent unsolved robbery cases.
